Certifications

FireTrust products obtained the compliance certificate delivered by ISIB.
This certificate guarantees that manufactured crates are in conformity and will provide similar performance as the test crates.
Moreover regular processing controls are carried out by ISIB, in order to ensure quality and safety to each FireTrust customer.

Certificate obtained by Goldfire :

• Report n° PE 06 7101, delivered by CNPP.
• Test report n°05-E-372 ; 05-E-375 ; 06-E-001 ; 06-E-002, delivered by CTICM.
• Certificate of conformity n° 2005-L-196, delivered by ISIB.
• Test report n°17326A, delivered by Warringtonfiregent, 16 September 2015.

Fire testing

No object suffered from any damage in spite of extreme heat and intensive water spray !

In order to guarantee to our customers safety and quality, 10 crates were tested by independent and recognized organizations. A test protocol was defined with the CTICM (Centre Technique Industriel de la Construction Métallique) - the french Industrial Centre of the Steel Construction - in order to test the crate in actual fire simulations.

CNPP (Centre National de Prévention et de Protection) - National Centre of Prevention and Protection - technical representative of the French insurers and ISIB (Institut de Sécurité Incendie Belge) - Institute of Belgium Fire Protection - technical representative of the Belgian insurers, were present during the tests, as well as an expert in works of art of APPAP (Action pour la Protection du Patrimoine Artistique des Particuliers) - Action for the Protection of the Artistic Inheritance of the Private Individuals - office of expertises in works of art in Paris.

Preparation

500 works of art and invaluable goods (paintings, papyrus, films…) are put into the 10 FireTrust crates. The APPAP’s expert attests to the good condition of the works of art and objects at the beginning of the tests.

Tests

• Test with hydrocarbon fires (1100°C)
  Firetrust crates are introduced into the furnace, heated during 15 minutes according to the standardized curve of hydrocarbon fire (red).
  
  
• Test with ISO 834 fires (950°C)
  FireTrust crates are introduced into the furnace and heated during one hour according to the standardized curve of Iso 834-1 fire (blue).
  
  
• Watering
  After specified times of heating, the crates are withdrawn and sprayed with water by firemen for ten minutes. Then the seals are checked for water-tightness.
